“Gay…chicken?”
“Yeah, the goal is to flirt with your partner and whoever the first to chicken out loses!”
Adrien frowned, glancing across the room at Nino who just shrugged and rolled his eyes as Kim pulled straws out of his pocket.
“Why is this a game?” Adrien asked as Kim fished Popsicle sticks out of his bag and started scribbling names on them.
“Because the joke is that guys flirting with guys is weird and not something most people are into,” Max sighed, watching Kim scribble names on the sticks. “It’s no homo in game form.”
“So…what happens if someone actually wants to flirt with someone else?” Adrien asked.
“I mean…that’s really not the point of the game,” Kim said, scratching the back of his neck. “The point is to pretend to be gay because…”
Kim frowned, turning to face his friends. “I…shit, I didn’t think of it like that. When you put it that way it sounds kinda-”
“Gross,” Nino supplied, sticking his tongue out.
“Shit…” Kim said, grimacing as he tossed the sticks aside. “Fuck this; you want to play Mario Kart?”
“Go set it up; I’ll be down in a sec,” Nino said, lingering behind the group and threading his fingers through the back of Adrien’s pajamas. “You okay?”
“Yeah…I mean, Kim didn’t mean anything bad by it but…” Adrien shrugged. “Not fun for people to think that two guys flirting is funny…”
Nino’s fingers threaded through Adrien’s hair, turning him towards him with a crooked smile. “We woulda won anyway.”
“I would have won,” Adrien corrected, lightly shoving Nino as his hands lingered on his chest.
“Wanna bet?” Nino asked, leaning in slowly.
“If you’re expecting me to chicken out, you’re gonna be disappointed,” Adrien chuckled, hands wrapping around Nino’s neck.
“You haven’t disappointed me yet,” Nino said, lips brushing against Adrien’s gently as Adrien leaned forward, pressing the taller boy against the door as Nino tensed, squeaking in Adrien’s mouth as he slowly ran his hands up his sides. Before he could react, Adrien pulled back, licking his lips as he brushed past him towards the door.
“Okay fine, you win,” Nino sighed, following his boyfriend downstairs.
